My Students
I met my students a month after school began. There happened to be an influx of third grade students, so the county decided to open a new classroom. This has been a tough change for these students. We do not have very much classroom supplies, as I had a very short time to get the room ready for them.
As I met my students for the first time I noticed that they all seemed excited and ready to learn.
They each were very flexible, helpful towards each other and myself, and eager for the new experience. I could tell just by observing and talking with the boys and girls in my class that they truly care about others and want to help each other.
They each come to me with different needs and academic abilities. I work hard to assure that I provide my students with the love and attention that many of them need. I also work hard to provide them with knowledge that will help them grow and learn.
My Project
My students need a place in the classroom where they can keep their agenda, papers, and personal books. This will help to make sure students work is going home to the correct student.
This shelf will also help students to become more responsible in getting work turned in and work/important papers home to show parents.
My students take great responsibility ad pride in their work, and it is upsetting to them when they do not get their work back, or accidentally bring someone else's work home. This is caused because agendas do not have an individual spot they go in everyday.
