My Students

My third grade students in Baltimore City are a compassionate and determined group of risk takers and thinkers. They work hard every day to reach their full potential both as learners and members of our society.

At our school, every child is treated as a valued and unique individual.

Students walk through the doors each day with different background experiences, academic levels and interests. Our job as educators is to uncover the specific needs and wants of every student so that they feel heard and appreciated, and in turn, succeed as learners.

My Project

These materials will help teach my students how to stay organized both individually and as a classroom community. With the help of this project and our new rolling easel, students will be able to access learning materials anywhere in the classroom. Teacher helpers will also be able to keep our classroom materials organized through use of the new table bin storage. We will add to our classroom chill spot with new pop-its and mindfulness texts. The headphones will also allow students to access blended learning apps without distracting others during small group time.
