My students need a Heavy-Duty Magnetic Write & Wipe Big Book Center.
FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. Kohls's classroom raised $310
This project is fully funded
I teach first grade students who attend a Title 1 school in a high-need community of Seattle, WA.
Some people spend a large amount of time and money organizing their life. They hire life coaches to manage their life, psychologists to manage their mind and secretaries to manage their time. They organize their lives according to strict schedules and follow repetitive organized daily patterns. They organize their homes and workplaces. Some people spend so long organizing that they do not actually do anything and simply procrastinate about given tasks.
As stated previously, I teach first grade. Teaching organization at a young age is important. We recently acquired some big books. The students use them often. But we have no place to store them, while still allowing student accessibility.
Our proposal is for a Heavy-Duty Big Book Storage Unit. This unit will be used for years and will truly add to the organization of our classroom.
In addition, it's the ideal place to store and display big books…and a versatile teaching tool, too! Wipe-clean laminate center has a giant display stand for books…plus a magnetic write & wipe board for highlighting words, sticking on letters and more. There’s even a partitioned storage space in back—perfect for keeping extra big books neat and accessible! It has easy-rolling casters and safe, locking hinges. Plus, it comes fully assembled!
Your help will stimulate learning through seeing, hearing, and doing because it will allow students to access our classroom big books. It will also reinforce skill themes, allow us to be a literacy model, and add more fun to our program!
