I could write a book about my Exceptional Ed students at our high school. They are intelligent (in their own way), diligent, and very eager to learn. But they first have to have routines and organization.

In order to graduate with a traditional high school diploma, it’s certain subject area tests they must take and pass.
We frequently engage in a variety of classroom activities to assist students prepare for these assessments. We do study sessions, note taking session, and projects.
My students demand organization and love colors. My students' binders will contain dry-erase markers for small group activities and cardstock for printing mini anchor charts.
Students will utilize the colored binders to store and track their data after taking district benchmark exams. These items may appear "simple," but they will assist my students in staying on track, tracking their data, and enjoying the classroom activities.
