Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Being from a low income area, my students struggle with the motivation to learn! It is important for me, as a teacher, to modify and differentiate my learning to focus on a student's individual needs.

I will use the binders in my classroom to help organize my lesson plans and different activities I plan to have the students participate in.

Organization is something I place great importance on in my classroom to be a more effective educator.

At the moment, my student files are kept in open crates leading to a giant mess most of the time. I hope to use the filing cabinet I am asking for to organize my student data to better analyze their needs. This will help me keep track of their progress as the year goes on. The expanding file folders will help me keep their portfolios in order to be able to produce evidence of why and how my lessons are being differentiated for each student. File folders play a key role in their portfolios to keep their work in order to be able to easily go back and search if needed!
