My Students
My students are a group of eager 4th and 5th graders within Chicago Public Schools. My students enjoy learning about themselves and the world. My students are committed to attending class daily and excelling in every way possible. Despite the many challenges that we have faced during the pandemic, my students are always striving to do their best and be life long learners.
My Project
The bins will help to organize the classroom library. It is important that students are able to find books based on their personal interests or specific genres. The bins will be labeled based on the books it contains to help my students locate books faster. This will also help students develop an understanding of the books they enjoy to read which build their interest in reading. Knowledge is power and my classroom have many books that has great information for students. Creating a clear and organized library will increase their interest in reading as well as their ability to read higher-level text.
