Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are Dual Language learners. They are becoming very knowledgeable in both languages. My students will have multi-language skills that are very valuable in the world today!

They learn Reading, Writing, Social Studies and Math in Spanish and Science is taught in English.

My students are ambitious 1st graders that are eager to learn! Each child in my classroom absolutely loves learning and I am so lucky and thankful to be their teacher. We look forward to a wonderful year!

My Project

There are many items that will help me as the classroom teacher to have things completed in a more efficient way and have things organized which therefore will give me more time to prepare meaningful lessons for my students. The materials that are included in this project are a variety of materials that are needed to run the classroom efficiently.

The most important item is the Groups pocket chart.

We have guided reading groups everyday. Guided groups provided one on one reading time with the teacher. The chart will help guided groups run smoothly and students will see their group information at a glance.
