My Project

This items I am requesting (storage totes and organization bins) will influence my students' learning positively. Having an organized classroom allows students to clearly find what they are looking for. This decreases student confusion and behavior. When the classroom is organized, students are easily able to navigate the room, find what they are looking for, and help other students out. Students take more pride in classroom materials when they are organized and neat. This all makes a difference in their learning because students will spend less time looking for materials and more time on learning.

My goals for this project are to not only increase classroom organization, but also increase student organization.

By having an organized classroom, students will also be taught how to be organized themselves; allowing them to easily find their own materials, too. My goal for my classroom lesson planning with this project is to be able to quickly find my materials since they will be neatly organized. This cuts down on prepping on my time.

Finally, my students are special because they deserve organization and structure in their life. I've seen my students thrive with structure and predictableness and their learning is so much better. These students deserve a classroom that is neat.
