Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am requesting two Kallax organizational cubbies which will help my first graders keep their books and belongings organized. The will not have traditional desks and cannot store their materials and supplies in their desks. I will pass out the Kleenex individual packs so students have access to tissues at their desks. The tissues will help when students get sick during the cold season. The squishy toys are prizes the students earn for completing assignments. These squishy toys are great because they can also serve as a fidget for those who want relieve stress. The magnetic blocks will be used for STEM activities which will reinforce communication and collaboration skills.
