Organization for Little Hands

My Students

My classroom is full of diverse learners. We have several students who are reading on grade level as well as below grade level. All come from different backgrounds and have a love of learning. They show up to school ready to learn and have active imaginations.

This class has many diverse needs and I really want to help each student be successful!

Their many different personalities are fun, spunky, and energetic. I want our classroom to be as engaging and interesting as they are. By fostering a love of learning, I hope to inspire them to a lifetime of reading and learning.

My Project

I am so excited to welcome students back into my classroom this year! Second graders are just beginning to learn how to care for their supplies and need lots of support to be able to keep track of and separate their supplies.

These basic organizational tools will enable me to provide organized supplies for each student and teach them the skills to keep them organized.

Pencil boxes will keep all of their pencils and crayons organized. Individual pouches will be to store math tools and headphones. Wipe off sleeves will be used for whiteboards and magnets to keep them easily accessible at their desks. Baskets will corral their water bottles at their desks. These tools will help students to be accountable for their own supplies and give them the support necessary to be successful.
