Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our biology class needs shelving units, storage bins, and lab supplies to improve both organization and learning in the classroom. The shelving units and bins will help us keep materials like microscopes, lab equipment, and experimental tools accessible, safe, and easy to manage. A well-organized space will allow students to focus more on learning and less on locating necessary items.

In addition to organizational materials, we need supplies to support hands-on experiments and investigations.

Access to quality lab equipment is essential for students to practice scientific skills, explore biological concepts in-depth, and stay actively engaged in the learning process. Hands-on activities help make biology tangible and meaningful for students of all learning styles. This is why the doc-cam would be beneficial. Being able to see what I am doing up in front of the class would support their overall learning in the classroom.

By providing these resources, we can create a more efficient and effective classroom environment. Students will be able to stay organized, fully participate in labs, and build a strong foundation in science, better preparing them for future coursework and careers in STEM fields.
