My students need storage bins and boxes with lids, four book bin organizers, a chart stand and nine pocket charts to help us create and maintain a great space for learning!
Can't find what you need? Did you misplace your materials again? If this sounds familiar, you know we need your help!
My students are first graders within a high-poverty school.
As you might expect, these young students struggle to keep themselves organized. Our learning time is precious to us, and we don't want to waste one minute of it looking for materials! We need tools to assist in our classroom organization. We have limited funding for classroom materials, so we need your help!
My Project
The materials you help to provide will allow our classroom to be an efficient and effective space for learning. Student materials will be carefully stored in bins, allowing students to access those materials themselves through efficient daily routines. When students can find their materials quickly, we can save more of our precious learning time. Similarly, pocket charts will help to keep their learning targets, sentence stems, and vocabulary organized and accessible as they work!
Misplacing important learning tools can be frustrating for both students and teachers.
When items are lost, precious learning time is often spent searching for and/or redoing work. Students benefit from predictable routines and easily accessible manipulatives and materials. An organized classroom will not only hep students to become more independent, but it will also teach students organizational strategies that will continue to help them long into the future!
