My Project

My students are eager, self-driven kids who give it their all, every day.

Picture a classroom where students thrive in a well-organized and structured environment that helps them grow as independent youths.

They can easily access the materials they need to learn and grow. By establishing a clutter-free classroom, we'll empower our students to develop vital life skills, such as responsibility, self-management, and time management. Our classroom doesn't have desks or a closet system. By having seat chair covers, we can store essential materials close at hand. I am requesting Teachers Pay Teachers Gift Cards to purchase materials to help organize and teach racial justice and representation. With these gift cards, we can purchase materials to teach equity, and fair representation to young children. Being confident individuals and having the opportunity to learn about racial justice will help empower students to grow and seek greater opportunities for success.

Nearly 80% of my students come from low-income, newcomer families.

Our students need a chance to have fair access to quality instruction so that they can achieve beyond what their parents work so hard for. Our students are their families' hopes and dreams. We hope to teach equity amongst our students and help them find their voice.
