This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As the school's academic and behavioral coach, I work with special needs students that the COVID 19 pandemic has impacted their learning over the past 2 years due to numerous changes in how instruction is provided. To assist in their learning, these zippered binders will assist in teaching strong organization habits that have been a struggle and out of reach for the title one special needs students I serve daily. Helping teach my students to get organized and keep them from losing their school supplies and important papers are especially important given the continued precautions that are in place due to Covid-19.
