Organization and Executive Functioning Skills for English Learners
Help me give my students basic classroom supplies, such as glue sticks and folders, so that we can complete projects, stay organized, and focus on learning.

My Project
My students come from all over the world and are placed in my ELL class to learn English. Aside from teaching them how to acquire English, I would like to help students use binders, notebooks, and folders to help students compile their work throughout the school year. At the end of the school year, they create portfolios of the work they have accomplished throughout the year. They are able to see their growth in their language acquisition from September to June. They can proudly reflect on their year or present their achievements to others.
When students have the basic necessities to complete assignments and stay organized, they can focus more on learning.
These supplies will teach students executive skills that they will not only use in our classroom, but outside at future jobs, internships, and in their communities.
