Orff To-Go!

Help me give my students more flexibility and comfort when playing Orff instruments. New mallets will lend itself to a cleaner timbre on our bass and alto xylophones, and the carts will make playing a more comfortable experience.

My Project

These moving carts will keep both instruments and students safe, as frequent moving of the instruments (which are heavy and bulky) will be minimized.

My students deserve to play their classroom instruments safely and comfortably, and these carts will allow us more opportunities to play.

My students are curious, kind, and hungry to learn more about instrumental playing. Limitations on instruments (not enough for everyone) and their comfort (sitting criss-cross on the floor/kneeling vs. standing) have been a hinderance on their playing technique. They are itching to play more frequently, and I hope that these carts will open up the world of instrumental music to them.
