This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our student population is underrepresented in all aspects of society. Providing these students with a space that is conducive to learning and achieving goals will provide them with a memorable experience. The goal of this project is to help our students reach their full potential. Our students deserve a diverse selection of books in their library. I have chosen authors and stories that represent my students demographic. I want my students to believe they can achieve anything. I think our classroom library can be a safe space that lets our kids lose themselves in literature and be who they want to be!
