Orchestra Musicians Need Music Stand Storage Cart

My students need a music stand storage cart to efficiently store and transport our music stands for performances and rehearsals.

My Students

Our students love music. They are passionate about music and music-making. Music is what keeps them motivated to come to school. They excel in music, despite our school being situated in the midst of five federal housing projects.

Most, if not all, of our students come from homes of highest poverty.

Our school has at a 70% highly disadvantaged rate.

Beautiful music comes out of our orchestra room. Our students play with great passion. Music is what they excel at. Our students would never have been able to play in an orchestra were it not for the school orchestra program.

My Project

Our school orchestra students need a music stand storage cart to efficiently store and transport the music stands for performances and rehearsals. Our music stands currently take up a great deal of space in the music room and practice rooms when not in use.

The music stand storage cart will free up precious space in our orchestra practice rooms so that they can be used for practice rather than be filled with music stands.

The music stand storage cart will also more easily transport the music stands to and from the school auditorium for performances.

The music stand storage cart rolls easily and one or two students can easily wheel and move the stands rather than having the whole orchestra carry stands one by one to the auditorium for performances. This will save time and energy of our students prior to performances. They will then be able to focus on the performance and rehearsal rather than on equipment transportation. The music stand storage cart will enable our students to thus become better musicians with the time and energy saved by using the cart rather than unnecessary man power. The music stand storage cart will also enable our students to have more practice space with the compacted size of the cart versus having all the music stands taking up the entire space of the practice rooms when stored.
