This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I work with students with special needs in the Bronx. I would like to provide my students with sensory-motor chewy tools (to prevent biting) and fine-motor activities to enhance their learning experience like the Busy Book Handwriting Practice for Kids, CALSPY Handwriting Practice Busy Book, Simply magic 48 PGS Handwriting Practice Book for Kids,RAEQKS Handwriting Practice Book for Kids ABC Alphabet Sight Words Learning Montessori Educational Toys Preschool Activities, Premium Edition Reusable Kindergarten Sight Words, and EliteKids Large Magic Practice Copybook For Kids, to learn visual motor, visual perceptual, pre-handwriting, and handwriting skills. The students vary in age from kindergarten to fifth grade.

They have developmental delays, Autism, speech delays, and other delays which impact their learning style and ability.

These tools will help create a safe environment, and motivate the children to learn and play and will enable them to excel and learn a lot this summer and upcoming year. Please help us provide the children with this opportunity!
