First graders typically love to move, learn, explore, talk, and hopefully, be at school; however, this school year is going to look different for them due to the coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic .
My job as an educator involves providing each student with the resources, knowledge, and materials they need to learn and feel safe.
From day one, I work to make our classroom a safe and welcoming environment for each and every one of those students. I make it a place where the students will be set up for success.
My Project
Thinking about the school year, I think it is safe to say that we are all worried about the health and safety of our students and staff. We know the benefits of in-person learning; however, we understand the safety benefits with off-campus learning. Many safety measures are in place to help students still feel safe while doing in-person learning.
Throughout the school year, students learn and grow SO much socially, emotionally, and academically.
So how can we make it the most safe to happen?
