Teaching in a low-income school district, my students are faced with several challenges both in and out of the classroom. Regardless of the challenges they face, I am always looking for ways to provide my students with opportunities they wouldn't otherwise have. I have eager learners who love to have the right resources put into their hands. Let's face it, they like to enjoy what they're doing. Don't we all?
The students in my classroom are great kids and deserve only the very best!
These students deserve every possible opportunity in life, and I hope to take them as far as I can. They are incredible and have so much potential.
My Project
When pulling kids to the reading table during reading groups, we regularly pull out whiteboards to work on word families or phonics skills. Even during math groups, we pull out our boards. With this reading table, we can say bye to our old scuffed up whiteboards because we can actually write on the table!
This table is so full of possibilities.
Not only can we use it for reading, but we can also use it for math! Imagine working on math skills while writing on the table?! This table is an interactive tool for all subjects for my students. They will be able to use this daily in their classroom.
