Operation PreK Organization to Increase Independence!
Help me give my students magnetic pockets and a caddy supply holder to get my classroom organized and my students independent.
FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. Rivero's classroom raised $169

My Students
Students in my classroom are military dependents and local residents of a large town in Hawaii. Our school is a Title I school which means we have a high percentage of students from low-income families. Furthermore, our school has a transient population due to the students with parents in the military.
My students are fun-loving, preschool aged, special education students.
Students have different disabilities such as autism, speech delays, and developmental delays but they are eager, bright, and love to learn about everything! I hope to make their first experiences in school fun and engaging!
My Project
My students need an organized classroom to increase their independence in the classroom. I hope to set up the classroom in a way that supports my students' independence. For example, the magnetic paper holder will store students daily work. After breakfast, students will get their work out of the pocket and begin their carefully selected, individualized work. The magnetic zipper bags will hold letters and numbers in the magnet board area that students can freely use. The magnetic caddy will store student supplies in a way that will allow students to easily access the supplies they need.
The supplies requested for my students will help me organize the classroom in a way that will support my students’ independence in the classroom.
