My Project

Operation Organization is for all my students: both my Gen-ed and SPED students. I have found that students need to learn responsibility for their materials. They never have all their things ready for them to be learning, and waste precious teaching time to go and get their materials. With these materials, we will see a decrease in the interruptions and lost materials in my own classroom and other teacher classrooms.

My students are constantly moving from one classroom to another.

At my school, my grade level switches for almost every subject. This means their supplies are getting lost. Every day, I see lost pencils, papers, folders, notebooks, etc. I want my students to have a place to put all their materials within their OWN space. They have to share desks with others, and this creates chaos with three classes switching multiple times during the day. Specifically, having individualized bins and "pencil parking" can help these students learn to be responsible by putting their materials into proper places.
