My students need folders to store and organize their materials, graph paper for math, and magnets for interactive activities on the magnetic white board.
Farewell at the beginning of the school year? Yes, it's time to say goodbye, adios, and tam biet to disastrous desks, absent assignments, and frazzled minds.
Our school has a richly diverse student population in terms of language, culture, and academic performance.
Students in my class speak a wide variety of languages including Vietnamese, Spanish, Chinese, Cambodian, Tagalog, and Somali. Though faced with many economic challenges, my students have bright futures because of the education and characters they are developing. Without your concern and action, many academic opportunities would not be available to these hard-working students.
My Project
From the beginning of the year, I hope students will learn to organize their time and materials efficiently. Unfortunately, we still need some materials to start the year off right! With thick plastic folders, students won't lose or rip them as easily. The folders will last through this year and on to the next generation of 5th graders, keeping subject areas organized and desks clutter-free. Students also need graph paper for math activities in geometry, graphing, and multiplication. With magnets, students can participate in interactive activities on the magnetic whiteboard and display their work.
All materials will be shared among three fifth grade classes.
These are basic supplies, and we don't want to start the year without them! So help us say hello, hola, and xin chao to organized desks and stress-free students!
