My Project
I haven't done a DonorsChoose project in over 5 years! This is how important this one is to me and my students. I teach AIG (gifted and talented students) to approximately 175 students. They devour any kind of literature I put in their hands that deals with amazing and exciting real-world animals. I recently used a National Geographic for Kids magazine with my first graders. The excitement and wonder their little minds showed was immense. After our reading lesson, one child asked how much the magazine was and where could his mom buy one! I knew instantly I needed to get a class set. Will you please consider donating to my project so I can continue to bring awe, wonderment, and the love of reading to my students?
