My project needs bins to help us organize our classroom library.
FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. I.'s classroom raised $350
This project is fully funded
I am a third grade teacher at an urban school in Indianapolis, Indiana. My school community is comprised of financially struggling families of all races, languages, and religions, and extremely hard-working teachers and staff. As a community we are trying to give all the students attending our school an opportunity for a better future.
I have been collecting and purchasing books each year to help expand my classroom library. We now have several hundred books for us to enjoy. However, I have noticed that it is difficult for my students to find the books they want and many are discouraged from trying.
After struggling through broken baskets and missing labels, we are looking to purchase bins designed for classroom libraries. These bins are sized to hold many different types of books and come with special labels that make it easy for students to find the books they want!
Your donation will not only go toward organizing our library space, but it will also go toward inspiring readers. By making all these titles more accessible, it is promoting reading for enjoyment and growing life long readers.
