My students need five laptops for a daily Math Computer Station and computer coding.

Hooray! This project is fully funded
I work in a public charter school, and the majority of my scholars are from low income backgrounds. We are located in Jacksonville, Arkansas, which is the home of Little Rock Air Force Base, and many of our students are from military families. My students are full of energy, and they love a challenge. They have limited supplies, but they are eager to learn. My students are faced with the challenge of learning with just paper and pencil the same content other schools teach with computers. They deserve the chance to be successful.
My students need a computer station in our Math class in order for each student to receive individualized help at their own level. A computer station will allow me to assign Math practice for each of my 100 students. This practice will provide tutoring help if they get stuck on a problem, and will reward them with a Math game after they complete each assignment.
At my school, each teacher is asked to sponsor a club.
I would love to incorporate STEM projects and begin a computer coding club. These computers would be used in a variety of ways in my classroom.
As a mom of two 6th graders, who are blessed to attend a school where technology is used in every subject, I know just how effective technology can be. My students deserve a chance to succeed!
