This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are constantly asking to leave the classroom and go get water. If we had a stash of water bottles in our classroom, we could spend more time learning than trekking halfway across the campus to the water fountain. Testing season is just around the corner, and we need to keep students' attention on the test instead of the quest for water.
For a culminating project we'll be doing on climate change, my students will choose a way to demonstrate what they've learned about global warming and things we can do to make a difference in our daily lives.
I'd like to make sure they can have watercolor pencils and oil pastels to use in their projects if they choose to. The grabber will be helpful when things fall into the nooks and crannies of our classroom—our last grabber just broke!
