Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Each one of my 7th grade students contributes a unique perspective to our diverse classroom environment and helps to infuse life, light, and learning into our atmosphere. I'm so proud of my learners and work each day to make certain they know how valued they are!

We are identified as a Title I school with limited resources, however the opportunities for growth and the broadening of perspectives knows no boundaries!

Fostering lifelong learners is one of my top priorities!

My Project

The headsets will be used to help my students fully engage in this age of digital learning. Many of the texts we read online have an option to be read aloud or include supplemental videos. The sets would provide this accommodation!

Also, I hope to add engaging multicultural BOOKS to our classroom library, in an effort to spark my students' imaginations and ignite a love of reading by seeing THEMSELVES, and the broader world, in the books they read.

I love creating a warm and inviting space where students are excited to collaborate and learn!
