Operation: Choose Your Own Seating in the Classroom
My students need the ability to move and choose! The wobble chair/stools/ lap-desk will allow some kids with attention issues to focus and all students to have flexibility in learning space.

My Students
I teach about 150 lively high school students from varied backgrounds. Ninth and twelfth graders can be vastly different, but all are insightful, kind, and have a desire and drive to be successful.
Students in my classes are learning about contemporary literature, film criticism, and sports in society, so there is a wide-range of content and discussion topics.
Regardless of the topic, the kids are animated and opinionated! We typically sit in a "U" shape to facilitate discussion and interaction, but are looking for some more options!
My Project
I already utilize bean bag chairs and some other less expensive seating choice to allow students the ability to direct their own learning space. The lap desks and stackable stools will give more function to those spaces, acting as a place for their computers, books, etc. The students will utilize these spaces while reading, writing, creating projects, using technology, and discussing!
The stools can be set up on their own during project or individual time, or under one of our traditional desks, so students can be utilizing them every day in a variety of ways, helping them to focus and create.
