Help me give my students a listening center during guided reading. Listening centers are an essential part of 1st grade reading instruction. They give students the experience of tone, fluency, and automaticity.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My first graders are an eager group of learners. We have a classroom of English Language Learners who all work hard every day in class and love hands-on learning opportunities.
In first grade, hands-on learning is where the magic happens!
Students get to work on different activities using a variety of tools to extend their learning. With these listening centers, students will be able to experience stories and apply their learning in independent center activities. Listening centers also help students improve their language skills and develop stronger communication skills.
