Opening Minds and Exploring Mass Communications With New Technology!
Help me give my students the creative tools they need to explore Mass Communications effectively with 6 new digital cameras, 2 mics, 1 laptop, and 2 tripods—these tools can make dreams come true!
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
“Any sufficiently advanced technology is equivalent to magic.”– Arthur C. Clarke They say technology will rule the world one day, and in the world of education: it’s a reality. I want to bring that magic to our students. Most of our students have been exposed to technology only at home, with limited laptop use at school. This equipment will help the students get a real-world experience of communications in the classroom. This type of hands-on technology gives them the tools they need to successfully be exposed to and communicate via technology. We can expand our morning announcements radio crew and create fresh and educational videos for our students and parents. Please assist the students in discovering a new form of exciting communications through video technology. With 6 new digital cameras, 2 tripods, 2 lavalier mics, and a laptop—our students will be opening their minds to the new uses that technology offers in Mass Communications. Our entire small public charter middle school will benefit from these items being used daily in the classroom.
