This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My goal for this project is to help my students access books that they'll enjoy. By encouraging students to read based on their interests, I'm hoping to spark that passion for learning. I believe by having students read graphic novels they'll start becoming interested in reading and branch out to other types of literacy.
The majority of my students come from shelters and they might not be able to get access to books.
By adding more books to my classroom library I'm hoping to give more options to my students.
