FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. Wood's classroom raised $320

My Students
I teach at a Title 1 school where our entire student population is eligible for free breakfast and lunch. We have a very diverse student body with 14% of our students being English language learners. Each of our students brings a wealth of cultural experiences to the table.
After over a year of learning at home, I am delighted to be transitioning to fifth grade next year with my fourth graders!
My students are already looking forward to coming back to "real" school in the fall and I canʻt wait to meet them in person. While our fingers are crossed that we get to learn together at school, we know we will be ready for whatever comes our way this August!
My Project
Whether learning in the physical classroom in the upcoming school year or doing distance learning at home, Scholastic News and Science Spin will be a tremendous asset to our all our students as it will help keep students and families engaged all year long!
Scholastic News and Science Spin's different text features help English language learners and emerging readers alike.
The charts, maps, and graphs help build skills across all subjects. The digital tools available are a great teaching resource as well.
I have used both Scholastic News and Science Spin for the last three years and my students and their families love them!
