Oopsie Daisies Happen

My Project

The children in my class range from age 3-5, therefore, some of them are still potty training. Potty training is a learned skill and it is totally normal for children this age to have accidents.

Little oopsie daisy accidents happen all the time, even to children who have been potty trained for a while.

At the beginning of the school year I ask families to send their child in with a change of clothes in case an accident happens. Most families are able to spare a change of clothes, but some are not. Sometimes a child has an accident and we send home their change of clothes and they are not returned. And sometimes children's body's grow a lot from September to June and the clothes they sent in at the beginning of the year no longer fits him or her when they need them. As you can see having a spare clothes that fit children are needed for many reasons. I never want a child to feel ashamed or embarrassed about having an accident, so it is important for them to have a proper fitting change of clothes. My project, if funded will be able to provide that to my students.
