This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I teach 2nd grade at a wonderful elementary school full of amazing students! My class struggles with the foundations such as reading and writing but I always see them trying their best every single day. I see how much work and effort they put into the classwork, they never give up. I know they are amazing because they are the true definition of perseverance.
My Project
We will start this school year at home with children learning online. I know that each child does not have headphones to properly listen to lessons without background noises. Last year taught me many things about learning from home mostly that children do not have the tools they need to access the curriculum.
The headphones will allow the children the ability to listen to online lessons without background noises, interruptions or distractions.
I expect to deliver these headphones to each child as they pick up their materials from school during the grab and go sessions.
