My students are first-grade students in an urban district in southwest lower Michigan. My kiddos are energetic, enthusiastic learners! These first graders are eager to read, write, and build their brains. In first grade, we work hard every day!
For these kiddos, school is a place where they can learn and be safe.
They love having fun... and that's where you come in! Donating to my classroom adds those "extras" that help make learning fun and engaging every single day.
We are so fortunate to live in a community where all students are supported in their college dreams, starting from the moment they enter school. Continuing to engage my students, with your help, ensures a relationship with growing and learning that will see them through as they work toward their educational goals!
My Project
Online learning has changed everything about education in my 1st-grade classroom. Students spend their days at home, tuning in to video chat lessons with me... but sometimes it's hard to make sure students are engaged.
Games and learning videos are an amazing way for students to interact with learning to continue to grow in skills.
Not only can these games be played by us together in class, but they can be played at home so students can continue to learn even when we are not together in class.
Help bring fun back to our learning during this difficult year by supporting this project so my students have access to this digital game library!
