it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Meet Richmond's Littlest Lions! We are a classroom of 12 special needs children - most of my kiddos have autism. They are bright, beautiful, and curious to learn. Each and every one of my kids have individual needs that vary from learning how to toilet or hold pencils, and even some learning to better socialize.
My students enjoy so much interaction on the playground, but things are limited due to costs.
We love being active, and we collaborate with our SPL and OT in order to better the needs for each individual child. Help me help them! Our school is very unique where children thrive and teachers LOVE teaching every student from every background. I hope that you can help me better my classroom!
My Project
Since day one, my parents have been trying their best to help their young learners learn on a chromebook at home. We have used Seesaw and Clever to access material, but we all agreed on me sending home hard copies of packets that my students can easily access at home, in their hands. My students are very young, most being three years old, and they need hands-on paperwork to work on their goals at home with parents. My printer went out and I need to be able to send home weekly packets to my families. I have been using my printer at school, but it would be much easier to do this at my home at my convenience. Also, Barefoot Books have been a HIT online teaching! My students LOVE dancing and watching these musical books, so the more Barefoot Books, the merrier!
