Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My new class includes 7th and 8th grade special education students. Half of them will be returning to class and the other half continue to be remote students. Although they have some barriers to learning they are showing up and trying their best. They love to learn and deserve the best!

My Project

These materials will help to plan some engaging lessons for my online students. They need some more exciting activities for learning like an escape room or scavenger hunt. Teacher Pay Teachers offers many of these lesson ideas that are also available digitally. They will be easy for my students to navigate but also help make learning fun. These are also good for classroom celebrations and special events. Now that we cannot do this in person, we can use these lessons to motivate us through the rest of the school year.
