This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students come from different types of backgrounds. Many of my students are the first generation who attend high school and desire an opportunity to improve their family and community. My students are creative, thoughtful, and full of questions! They absolutely love hands-on, active, engaging projects, and challenges that allow them to think outside the box to find solutions! They come to school each day ready to try new things and take brave chances to grow both personally and academically. Honestly, they are my inspiration!
My Project
I am requesting a variety of snacks to give my students energy to make it through the long hybrid learning school day.
My students need to keep their energy up and many of them cannot afford to bring extra snacks to school these days.
I want to provide snacks to them so they can be energized all day long. Hybrid learning is tough on everyone, but most of all on my students
Providing snacks makes the difference between students learning and being successful or not being successful. It is a simple request that will make a huge impact on my students. They will be able to focus and keep their stamina up for the entire day.
