My students need bean bags, a book shelf, and a carpet to make the reading area comfortable for them to sit, read books, and explore different types of books.

Ready Set Read! My kids are hungry for a comfortable place to sit and look at books in our class.
In my class we have 32 students and half of them are students who are English Language Learners.
Many of my students are from low-income families and our school is about 70-75% free and reduced lunch. This group of kids is excited to learn about new things and is always eager to show me what they have learned and what they can do. I am always amazed at their enthusiasm and curiosity. Our kids love to look at books, but the area to do it in is just not that exciting.
My students need bean bags, a book shelf, and a carpet to make the reading area comfortable for them to sit, read books, and explore different types of books. My students will use these resources everyday. I have kids who love to go to the library area in our class, but do not stay long since there is not a comfortable place to sit and browse through the books. The kids would love to be able to use the shelf by putting out their favorite book for the next group to see. The new book shelf would also make it easier for the kids to find books that might interest them. They would be so excited to have an area that they can sit down and relax.
My students will benefit from this project by having a place that is comfortable and relaxing to go and get familiar with books.
Some of my students have never had a designated reading place and this would be great for them to have a place that is comfortable and just of reading.
