it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My 7th-grade students are generous, kind, and caring. They are willing to share their resources and tools to support their peers in their academic needs when the less fortunate students do not have the supplies necessary for the school day. In middle school, students are not only concerned with the clothes that they wear but what type of supplies they have. More than half of my students are in need of financial support being in a Title 1 school where most of their parents work more than one job to support their family.
Your support will help me provide binders and dividers for my students so that they can focus on their work and stay organized for more than one of their classes.
These last two years during the pandemic have caused middle school students to become self-conscious and afraid of removing their masks in a crowded space. By providing students with a clean and environment using the KLEENEX paper towels and tissues the children will feel more comfortable to stay in my classroom knowing it has been cleaned with durable products. During their lunch, I also offer enrichment activities to encourage learning beyond the classroom or to support their academics in other subjects. Having new binders, dividers, dry erasers, Kleenex paper towels and tissues it will help me organize the students and provide them with the confidence and cleanliness to be themselves.
