My Students

I teach 3rd grade in a low economic school. My students come from a variety of different economic backgrounds with 100% of our students receiving free breakfast and lunch every day.

The students in my 3rd-grade classroom are rambunctious, energetic, fun loving, and most importantly eager to learn.

They deserve the ability to learn and that is why I am asking for you to help me provide my students with tools that will help them learn and succeed. They come to school every day ready to learn and I want to help them in the best way I can.

My Project

This year I am trying to incorporate technology into every day work in the classroom. Everything in today's world is turning technological. The county my school is located does not have the funds to make sure that all classrooms have one to one technology. I would like to have 5 Chromebooks. If I were to get these 5 Chromebooks, every student in my class will be able to have a device for every day functionality. As a third grade teacher I am teaching my students to be more independent and how to use search engines for information, as they are starting State Testing.
