One to One Technology in the Classroom

Help me give my students Chromebooks so we can continue our online learning. This pandemic has forced us into a new way of learning. I am trying to give my students a one to one use with technology.

My Students

My students come from a beautiful, yet small, rural town. Population of 1,200, with most being below poverty level. Our school is 100% free breakfast and lunch. We have a large number of non-English speaking students. With all that being said, I have the greatest group of kiddos! They are so eager to learn, and just love being at school. Even with all the financial set backs, and the new “normal” they endure, it does not dampen their hunger and excitement for learning.

My Project

Technology is more important than ever in the classroom! It needs to be a staple in our class, especially now during this pandemic. I teach both virtually and to my in class students. Having a class set of chrome books would let both sets of my students connect together as one!

Chromebooks are needed now more than ever!

This gift will help keep my students from sharing computers, therefore lowering their risk of accidental exposure to Covid-19 germs. This would allow BOTH my in class and virtual students to connect during class.

This gift would not only serve my students this year, but in years to come.
