it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As part of a special classroom project, my students will be creating their very own poetry books—a celebration of their creativity, imagination, and personal voices. But in order to bring this vision to life, we need your support! For many of my students, this poetry project is more than just an assignment; it’s a chance to express themselves in a way that feels authentic and empowering. Through the process of writing, editing, and designing their own poetry books, they will gain valuable skills in writing, self-reflection, and artistic design, while also building confidence in their voices and stories. They’re almost to the finish line… They need a markers, color pencils, and binding combs. This project will help them see the power of their words and how they can share their unique perspectives with the world.
