This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I work with a wonderful group of students with special needs. They all have their own unique personalities and learning styles.
My students aren't comfortable and cannot thrive in traditional classroom seating.
I need to provide them with choices such as saucer chairs and a rug of how and where they work and learn. Some students need fluffy seats. Others want to sit or lay on the floor. I want them to be happy and productive. We need to remove barriers to learning by providing them with the tools and resources to succeed despite their learning differences.
