My Project
Our students are part of an early college program, many of whom are passionate about pursuing careers in healthcare—especially in the nursing field. Through our Health Science class, they gain valuable hands-on experience that prepares them for futures in medicine and allied health professions.
Students explore a variety of essential skills, including wound care, phlebotomy, vital signs, personal protective equipment (PPE), Basic Life Support (BLS), and much more.
These experiences help them discover which healthcare path inspires them most—whether it's becoming a CNA, nurse, EMT, or another vital member of the healthcare team.
Unfortunately, our Perkins grant does not cover consumable supplies, which are crucial for practicing skills like phlebotomy. That’s why we’re seeking your support. Your donation will directly impact our students by providing the tools they need to develop confidence, competence, and a clear direction in the healthcare field.
