This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
An Apple iPad, case and stylus will be very helpful in the classroom, allowing me to to be more mobile while monitoring students work. Not being stuck at my desk with the computer will help me reach students one-on-one while they are working on tests and projects. It can transform into any tool that might help a student learn - a camera, a voice recorder, math manipuoative, white board, digital book, etc. It can also be a helpful tool, like recording student observations to demonstrate academic progress and create content to enrich student learning experiences.
I teach at a Title I school with mainly at-risk students who definitely benefit from individual time and attention.
