My students are preschoolers, and for many of them, this is their first experience in a school setting. They are all from low-income families and do not have access to many things that we often take for granted.
My students are fun-loving, little people who love coming to school!
This school year is filled with so many uncertainties. One thing is for sure though, school is a safe place for many of my students. I want to be sure that everyone in my classroom is happy and healthy.
My Project
My classroom has enough materials for all my students, but not enough for everyone to have their own set to use.
Due to the uncertainty of what this coming school year presents to us, I want to have enough individualized sets for my students to each have their own.
That way they can use them either in the classroom or from the safety of their home. This way I know that every one of my students will have access to crayons and markers to draw, and some Unifix Cubes and Wikki Stix to manipulate and work on their fine motor skills.
