Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I teach at an online school that offers no music program for the students. My kids deserve to learn music because there are so many benefits to playing an instrument.
My students have pleaded with me to ask you for recorders.
Because I am in a room with other teachers who have online classes, I cannot teach the kids how to play the recorder myself. However, my kids are motivated. They are willing to learn through online tutorials and play for me so that my colleagues cannot hear. I will of course teach them fingering and discuss the online tutorials while we watch them as a class.
Please consider my project because I want my kids to benefit from music as I have.
